Health & wellbeing

A gentler way to look after your mind and body.

Our wellbeing programme is preventative, trauma-informed and led by trained facilitators alongside lived-experience peer mentors. Sessions are free, drop-in friendly and designed to complement — not replace — clinical mental health care.

Who it's for
Anyone aged 16+ struggling with stress, anxiety, low mood, loneliness or life transitions.
When it runs
Multiple sessions every weekday — see our timetable in the hub.
  • Weekly mental health awareness and self-care workshops
  • Mindfulness, breathwork and guided relaxation sessions
  • Gentle movement: chair yoga, walking groups and seated stretch
  • Creative therapies — art, journaling, music and crafting circles
  • Men's wellbeing space and women's wellbeing space
  • Bereavement, anxiety and low-mood peer support groups
  • Warm referrals into NHS Talking Therapies and crisis services when needed

Advice & navigation

Practical help to untangle the everyday.

Our trained community navigators sit alongside you to make sense of forms, letters and systems. We don't judge, we don't rush, and we follow up — because one conversation is rarely enough.

Who it's for
Anyone facing financial hardship, paperwork they don't understand, or a life event they need help navigating.
When it runs
Drop-in advice every weekday morning; bookable one-to-ones in the afternoon.
  • Benefits checks, Universal Credit, PIP and Attendance Allowance support
  • Housing advice: tenancy issues, homelessness prevention and council liaison
  • Debt triage and warm referrals to StepChange and Citizens Advice
  • Cost-of-living help: food parcels, fuel vouchers and pension credit checks
  • Energy supplier disputes and Priority Services Register sign-ups
  • Help registering with a GP, dentist and NHS services
  • Form-filling, letter-writing and accompanied appointments

Digital inclusion

Confidence with the technology that runs daily life.

Being offline in 2025 means being locked out of the NHS, banking, benefits and family contact. Our digital inclusion programme builds skills at the learner's pace, using equipment we can lend out and data we can top up.

Who it's for
People with little or no digital confidence — particularly older residents, refugees, and people on low incomes.
When it runs
Weekly group sessions plus bookable one-to-one slots.
  • One-to-one tech coaching on phones, tablets and laptops
  • Help setting up email, NHS App, MyGP and online banking
  • Online safety, scam awareness and password management
  • Video-calling family and friends for those living alone
  • Loanable tablets, refurbished laptops and SIM data top-ups
  • Group classes for over-65s and digital beginners
  • Support with online job, housing and benefit applications

Substance misuse & recovery

A stigma-free space for every stage of the journey.

We work in partnership with local treatment services to offer a confidential, non-clinical space for people affected by alcohol or drug use — including family members and those not yet ready to seek formal treatment. Harm reduction sits alongside abstinence-based recovery; both are welcome here.

Who it's for
Adults affected by their own or someone else's substance use, at any stage and with no requirement to be abstinent.
When it runs
Recovery café Tuesdays & Fridays; peer support and family groups midweek.
  • Weekly peer-led recovery cafés and SMART Recovery meetings
  • One-to-one recovery coaching from people with lived experience
  • Harm reduction information, naloxone training and safer-use advice
  • Family and carer support groups for loved ones affected by addiction
  • Warm referrals into local treatment, detox and rehabilitation services
  • Relapse prevention planning and post-treatment community
  • Sober social activities — outings, sports, creative groups
